Responsive Redesign

With the current RIT Events Calendar cluttered with input boxes, blue links, and the Orange and Brown RIT students all know (but don't really love), I thought it was time for a new look.

I made a few minor cosmetic tweaks. No more RIT Brown, but more of the new Orange and Black RIT is slowly adopting across all depratments.

Students use their smart devices daily to check their schedule and email alerts. Why shouldn't they be able to look at events on their phone?

Every site should be mobile friendly, especially one that is linked to a technical institute. Vertical scrolling, pop-out "hamburger" navigation, and all the content you see on the desktop version.

Personal tablets and "phab-let" devices are becoming more popular as their computing power increases and their weight somehow magically vanishes year after year. For many students and professionals, these devices are their go-to choice.

In the end, I wanted the overall design to reflect RIT's new personality, modern, technical, and beautiful, while at the same time keeping our Orange.
